I am debugging the RX family MCU in the High-performance Embedded Workshop environment using the E1 or E20 emulator.
When downloading a program after selecting [Programmer mode], the checksum result of Data Flash is NG as shown below.
Since the state of the data flash memory in the RX family MCU is indeterminate after it has been erased, a different value is read every time it is read. Therefore, when downloading a program that does not store data in the data flash memory, the data flash memory remains in the erased state, and the result of checksum calculation is NG.
When downloading a program that does not store data in the data flash memory, the NG display can be ignored. To make the NG display disappear, place dummy data in the data flash memory.
