I want to carry out PWM control of a solenoid using the NP50P04SDG, but the control signal on the gate side rises slowly, so I can't control the duty ratio of the output voltage on the drain side. The reason I'm using a p-channel MOSFET is because n-channel open drain output format cannot be used with solenoid specifications.
It also depends on the PWM frequency, but since the NP50P04SDG has large input capacitance (Ciss Typ 5000 pF), if pull-up resistance and gate series resistance are high the time constant will also be large. This is probably what is slowing down the rise of the gate to source voltage. To fix this, please use a low Ciss MOSFET.
