The problem may be that the program was transferred from ROM to RAM after the software break was set.
Replacing the code with a break instruction in the program that is being loaded to the target board immediately after the program is executed (the GO button is pushed) actualizes the software break.
Therefore, after a software break is set and then the program is executed, if the program in the area that is set as a software break in the users program is written over, the software break can’t be executed.
When setting a software break in a program to be transferred from ROM to RAM, either set the break after transferring the program, or specify a break condition ("event condition" in some MCUs).
A break condition can be set in the same manner as a software break by double clicking in the EVENT column to the left.
