Is output level inexact if count stop after timer X pulse in output mode?

Latest Updated:12/01/2005

Question:

(Timer)   Is output level indeterminate if the count is stopped after timer X pulse output in pulse output mode?
Does the port output need to be updated after changing timer mode in order to fix the output at "L" level? [2005/12/01]

Answer:

When the count is stopped after timer X pulse output in pulse output mode, the output level at that time is maintained. If data is written to the timer X latch after the count has stopped, the output latch resets to the inital values specified by the CNTR0 polarity switch bit. (#104792)
