(Pin) What is the initial output level of CNTR0 output? [2007/08/09]

Latest Updated:08/09/2007

Question:

(Pin)  What is the initial output level of CNTR0 output? [2007/08/09]

Answer:

The initial output level of CNTR0 output is high impedance.
When the D4/CNTR0 pin function selection bit (W50) is set to 0, the value of the port D4 output latch is output from the pin.
However, internally, CNTR0 output will be in the initial high impedance state.
Also, when the timer which is selected by the CNTR0 output signal selection bit (W23) stops, CNTR0 output will be in the initial high impedance state.
Therefore, once output starts, CNTR0 output will be held at high impedance state until the next timer underflow. (#106688)
