What are heat resistant temperature to prevent deformation of reel?

Latest Updated:08/01/2007

The reel of a semiconductor chip product melts and deforms when it is baked (for 10 hours at 125°C).
What are the heat-resistant temperature of the reel, baking conditions, and action to be taken to prevent deformation of the reel?

Adhesive tapes, embossed tapes, and reels are not heat-resistant.
If baking processing is unavoidable, therefore, put the chip products in a heat-resistant container. In this case, mounting the products from the tape is impossible.
Most taped products are not packed in a moisture-proof package, so the baking conditions of such products are not specified (the baking is unnecessary).
